Alice Tran is an actress who graduated with a major in marketing from Université de Montreal’s Hautes Études Commerciales. She also pursued acting courses at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio in Los Angeles in 2008 and has travelled to Mexico, Vietnam, Thailand and Morocco. In 2010, Alice coproduced her own show, Ménage à Trois, a variety show and has had leading roles on 30 Vies (Radio-Canada) as Liam Pelletier and on Lance et compte: la déchirure (TVA) as Trang. She also starred in a play about mental illness, Inside Brain, for the Festival Du Nouveau Cinéma and Alice written by Romain Pollender for the Théâtre du Petit Chaplin. In addition, Alice organizes and hosts different events like the TukTuk Show, a fundraiser for Alternative Suspension to encourage students to stay in school. She was also involved in S’exprimer, s’engager, se mobiliser!, a program that raises awareness about social issues and builds leadership skills in youth. Both her ability to bring together a successful team and her creativity garnered her the Audience Award at the Actra Short Film Festival in 2012 for her work in Eupnea, as coproducer, writer, songwriter and actor.
