Caroline Gauthier : Curious, creative and passionate about travelling and intercultural relations, Caroline Gauthier has organized no less than nine international exchange initiatives over the last several years. Whether the objectives of her projects are to help youth reintegrate the job market or to acquire new knowledge, they always inspire both the youth and the partners involved. She has a Bachelors in Organisational and Cultural Studies and a vocational degree in Photography. She has invested her interpersonal and facilitation skills in a career within the community sector where she has worked in promoting volunteerism and entrepreneruship. As a project development agent at the Carrefour jeunesse-emploi of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, she continues to successfully bridge her love for travelling and helping others reach their dreams!
Despina Sourias : Bringing partners together, creating opportunities for individuals to achieve their goals and supporting capacity-building projects are the kind of challenges that have driven Despina’s work since 2003. She has extensive experience working on community development projects locally and internationally. In this respect, Despina brings a collaborative leadership style and openness to diversity. She has developed her knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship promotion as an Entrepreneurship Awareness and Promotion Officer for the various Carrefours jeunesse-emploi of Montreal since 2007. In this capacity, she worked on educational tools for elementary students, high schools and budding entrepreneurs. Despina has a Bachelors in International Development from McGill University and an international administration diploma from the ENAP (École nationale de l’administration publique). She intends to continue creating create economic, social, educational and cultural links between her local work and international partners.
Cassandra Shamshoum: Cassandra graduated from Concordia University’s economics co-op program where she completed three internships in the aerospace, power tools and financial industry. A strong believer in using today’s vast resources to solve social problems, she has been involved in various community-building initiatives and is the VP of the Young Chamber of Commerce of the South-West of Montreal. Even though her previous experience has been in the private sector she truly has found her calling in the social economy sector As a project development agent. Montreal for Entrepreneurship is her first international exchange project and she is looking forward to helping it reach out to more youth.
